Buzz

Yep, I heard that word a lot in middle school, along with weather bee and many others. Betrina is a hard name to remember, so my nickname stuck, and I'm excited to not only introduce my practice of Bea Well Nutrition but introduce you more to my story and my life. Welcome to my blog, and it will give you the buzz of what is going on in my practice, nutrition, and exercise world with dispelling any myths and a focus on women's health, and what I'm also learning in this life that may be beneficial for you too! Some things you should know.

  1. If you expect perfection, you won't get that here when it comes to blogging about life. It will be genuine, honest, and a grammarly incorrect saying here or there. Don't worry when it comes to health, though. You will be getting my best because I want to help you dispel myths, not make you more confused.

  2. I am loud, I am a talker, I am a child of God, I love to run, horseback ride, and travel (will blog on my adventures), and I love to help others a lot…. this can become a problem (you know that word boundaries). I also am currently building our first home (more my husband) and a mom of 4 who I can’t keep out of the water no matter how nicely dressed they are.

  3. I have experienced poverty, abuse, cancer, depression, anxiety, recurrent miscarriages, betrayal, autoimmune disease, and struggles with my weight/relationship with food and exercise over the past 40 years. I see it all as a journey that God will not only use for His glory but my the good and the good of others. These experiences have taught me a lot about who I am and who He has made me be.

  4. I am a non-traditional student, went to school at age 32, and will finish up my Masters's in the next couple of years. I'm sure this will be blogged about!

  5. My family and we are all pretty loud, goofy, and imperfect. However, we are a family loved by God and hope to share that love with others. Family is important to me. My dad instilled that. He was orphaned by age nine and worked hard to keep his family together. I'm excited to be on my journey, and in remembrance of him and his belief in his kids, I will continue to help others.
